The site is the result of a New Jersey-based commercial furniture enterprise seeking to expand its manufacturing facilities to a south-central Florida locale, settling in the City of Clewiston as an ideal central hub.

“Being next to the lake is also a huge plus, as we see more potential opportunities to develop relationship with new industries like boating, etc.,” said Vlad Spivak, co-owner of Clewiston Partners and managing partner and co-founder of
Modern Line Furniture®, the New Jersey manufacturing company that will utilize the site to expand its furniture manufacturing efforts.

Spivak said the amenities will be split equally, with each section separated into offices, a showroom/display area, and bathrooms, showers, a lunch area and breakroom for employees, with plenty of space to expand. The City of Clewiston has been helpful and cooperative before and during the buildings’ construction, providing and expediting the necessary documents and information needed for a successful transition, Spivak said.

City officials and locals are very knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with when it comes to engineering and landscaping development” he said. “Moving in with new business and getting certifications and licenses to operate the new business in a new building(our facility) will be simply process as the city will guide them through the process.”
He continued that Clewiston offers many opportunities to all businesses, and that the new facilities offer fully air-conditioned amenities with four loading docks, two overhead doors, large offices, locker rooms, showers and display and showroom areas.

“We are the pioneers in the area, and we are planning to bring our business and lead the way,” he said. “We will be helping other businesses to take the same road by coming to Clewiston and leasing our facility and learning the same.”
